 I bought this when I was stationed in Germany, at the Rhein-Main base exchange in 1982. My roommate had one and I was impressed with the photos it took. A well spent $130. It went all over Europe with me, and has been dropped more times than I can recall with no ill effect. I can't say enough good about this camera. The only reason I stopped using it is the switch to digital. Now that I'm itching to do some film again, I think I'll pull it out ocassionally.

Yup. I had one like this too. Wish I still did. Great, well designed camera.

I sold so many of these back in 82-83. Good tough little cameras. Thanks for the memories.

I just happened to be reading this guy's blog the other day - ClassiCameras - and he had a post about the XA. Nice that it's held up so well for you over the years.
