 I took this shot of the cracking, river ice from the BLESS Viewing Platform. I love the way the shadows and sunshine highlight the cracks and old weeds in the thinning ice, soon to be released with the spring thaw.

I don't expect it will do well in voting but I really like it and decided to enter it anyway. Post-processing with CS3 includes levels, brightness/contrast, crop, resize and save for web.
