I think the boarder detracts from this photo. Also the spoon handle appears to be floating because the bowl is blown out. But otherwise a nicely setup shot. |

This is a tough challenge to vote on. The subjects do not seem to have equal weight here due to the size disparity. I like the muted tones. Nice composition. |

I actually like the large border use here. Nice, simple subject. My viewing shows the top left of the bowl (under the spoon) as blown out and non-existant on this monitor. The idea is good. |

A good everyday subject with objects that go together photographed well. Good lighting and no apparent reflections causing distractions. It appears there are some jpg compression around the mug handle and the spoon handle causing the Jaggies. The frame is different. I like the off white simulated matting but I would have made the outer line a dark blue or silver and kept it in line with the tones already in the image rather than add the gold. |

I would have liked the photo more if it didn't have burnt out highlights and such an exaggerated border. |

Nice for a magazine ad, but the third element is not as strong as the other two. |
