I'm always so shocked when "lighten it up" is the comment. I still don't see why a child's face can't be captured well with a shadowy feel. Oh well. I love it anyway. :) Thanks to all who voted and commented, whether I agree with you or not.

This has a really haunting ethereal feel to it, and the more time you spend with it the more it grows on you, and such wonderful eyes . .

However it was always going to struggle with people flicking through going for the knee jerk vote.

It's too dark. Shame, because it appears to be a pretty strong portrait.
