at first I was not so sure about this shot, but I like the feel of isolation and the chill of cold lake it gives. a starkness, a bleakness, in context.

Lovely simple and peacefull. My pref is to have maybe a young child in this and it would really lift this with a touch of colour, since you chose to keep it in colour. B&W would have been different. There also seems to be something in the fore that distracts a bit..o.o.f. branches? Everything is there for an 8/9. Dropping it to 7 for above reasons
