I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: A most unusual and interesting baby portrait. The deep shadows and colour temperate evoke a very warm cosseted feeling and the way the light (and your processing?) catches the fine body hair / down.
Critical stuff: I do think I'm a bit conventional here and feel that better focus on the face / eye would have improved the image (despite the overall soft feel).
Overall: Effective and unusual. |

| my first thought was "Aww" but then i noticed all the hair on the baby...which was...let's say unexpected! Cute baby nonetheless. |
