Sorry about this. I couldn't improve on the original so I just did something different.

Can't remember the steps, but they involved multiple layers,Fractalius, a gradient, eraser and several different blend modes.

Love the painting treatment that you created with the shot. After posting the picture for the challenge I realized it was a difficult shot to work with being on the underexposed side! You did take the image to a different level here!

2nd place for originality and making it work for the hard image to work with!
