reanimated.

eta: sorry didn't realize there were rules and I neglected to add editing steps. There are a number of them so I won't go into huge detail for all of them but if anyone would like elaboration on a step feel free to ask.

1. rotate, crop, flip horizontal
2. surgically remove eyes from another photo (one of hers as it happens -->' . substr('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/5000-9999/6388/120/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_735119.jpg', strrpos('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/5000-9999/6388/120/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_735119.jpg', '/') + 1) . '
3. paste eyes onto an empty layer.
4. decrease saturation of 'eyes' layer to 80%, then use 'free transform' to rotate, resize, and position eyes over the mannequin's.
5. use the erase tool to remove excess tissue from the surgically implanted eyes.
6. restore top layer saturation to 100%, then use curves and colour balance to approximate the same exposure and tones of the original image.
7. link background and 'eyes' layer, then repeat for the lips.
8. my model's lips were a different shape from the mannequin's so I used the warp tool to reshape them to more closely match the mannequin's.
9. once i was comfortable with the look of the newly implanted features, I flattened the whole image so I was back to just one layer.
10. duplicated layer, made an extremely contrasty sepia duotone on the top layer, then set the blending mode to 'overlay' and dropped the opacity to about 70%.

think that's about it.

1st place. I love the human blend animation - and the eye contact. Makes me feel she has thoughts and feelings. You have done such a great job.

Fitting that you posted that because the niptuck mannequins have always reminded me of you.
