The Tillamook Air Museum is one of the largest wooden structures in the US, situated near the Northwest coast of Oregon it boasts an entire WWII era Aircraft museum, complete with blimps, all kinds of Allied, Nazi and Japanese vintage airplanes. It is also near the Port of Tillamook Bay's local Railyard, suffice to say it was difficult coming to a decision on which one to enter. I liked this one the best.

Blew the colors and details out a bit using Bridge & CS4. Added border and did a little cropping.

Greetings from the Critique Club

Oh, man! What a grand old warhorse you found here. Great shot and excellent processing.

Yeah, a bit of nit-picking in that it would have been nice to get that complete wing in the picture, but hey, even fish-eye lenses can only do so much.

You caught the mood and time of that machine just beautifully and as I said in the opening, your processing was just about spot-on with only a tad of haloing, IMO.

You scored well among remarkable competition and you have an image to be proud of. Not bad for a day's work!

Keep 'em coming.

One of my favorite aircraft ever :-) And one of my favorite places to see them, the old blimp hangar at Tillamook Air Base....

This one's actually the "mini-guppy", if I'm not mistaken...

Interesting perspective. It has a nice architecture to it. I'm kind of wishing that the wing had sky above our view as well.... maybe not. :)

Nice perspective. Would have been awesome without that fence.

Always a cool aircraft. The appearance of the stairs at the tail end suggests to me that this is now in a museum setting.
