Greetings from the Critique Club
Hello again, LonnieD. I am so much enjoying the images DPC has been getting from our new members living in South Africa.
Now this image does have a lot going on and your comments tell the story, pretty much. It is a matter of time and lots of practice to get to the point where it is easier to make your images simple, yet compelling. Tell the story without distraction. You have many in your portfolio that already have this quality. This one just happens to be one of the busy ones. Still, my goodness, doesn't that bowler have good form, though! He must have been good-natured too, to have the flash go off when he was concentrating on his shot.
So, keep 'em coming and pretty soon you will be getting all "strikes."

Wish it was a larger image, the flash kind of killed the mood. good luck! |

Motion is certainly stopped, but to be blunt, the shot comes across as a snapshot. Looks like you may have been using the onboard flash. Forward facing onboard flash isn't terribly flattering light. |
