In both shots the perspective of the foremost glass is tricky. It is on a glass shop shelf above eye-level, and the front of its rim is above the back of it. Try as I might, I can only see it this way for a moment, and then it flips to the incorrect view as if I were looking down into it - which just makes it look totally whacked.

I prefer this over the other, it brings the focus more onto the glasses.
