And they are all those things ;-)
Shot this about half a dozen times from different angles and with different lenses till I got something that showed the early spring flowering aspect of them.
I don't expect much from a flower shot in this kind of challenge, but I just couldn't make myself stay inside much at all this week. Spring was calling, loudly.
PP - tonemapped in qtpfsgui (pregamma 0.697, Mantiuk mthod, contrast mapping 0.1, saturation factor, 1.107, detail factor 1), vignetted (mostly blur) and merged with original at 20% transparency, cropped, burnt background some, white balance, shifted yellows a little oranger and increased saturation on them, resized, sharpened, blurred background some more, added border. |

| The blur looks added in post - whether that's the case or not, it looks that way, and it can be a bit disconcerting. I do like the idea of real daffodils in place used as the ad! (Commenting only.) |
