I noticed the shadows from the trees outside and the window crisscross thingy (does that have a name?) and rather liked them on the windowshade, and then I thought of adding something else for interest, so I traced my hand, stuck the paper behind the crisscross thingy so it was "touching" the crack in the shade, and shot. Kinda' fun :-)
PP - flipped upright, straightened some (though my horizontals aren't all parallel to each other so there's not such thing as perfectly straight on this one), cropped, curves, desaturated, increased contrast, sharpened, resized, USM, added border. |

| I wish there was something more in this image to make it more dramatic. Maybe someone/some face on this side so that it is more explicit that hand "wants to grab" something. Or maybe shadow on the other side. I think if shadow of the hand was little bit more blurry (farther toward tree) would be better too (but that is more questionable :). And light visible on left upper corener is distracting. All that said, I very much like idea, and execution too. It's a great image - I just think you can make even better :) |
