A clear improvement over the challenge entry. You've moved closer to the house (either physically or through the lens), giving us a better appreciation for the architecture over the setting. This has been processed "cleaner" - better sharpening to bring out the detail. What were your settings for this? Sometimes it can be useful to some critiquers to have that information so try to include it when asking for comments. |

Overall I really like your photo. Its nice and sharp and looks great. Is it very interesting? Sorta, but not really. The architecture is not that awe-inspiring.
2 things of note:
1st, I find the lamp post standing infront of the house to be distracting and in the way. I obviously realize you couldn't do anything about it.
2nd, The grass on the ground looks yellowish and radioactive and almost due to some processing. Could be wrong.
Conclusion i think you did a good job capturing this subject given the circumstances. I can only think of a few minor processing tweaks to improve it.
