A ton of layers on this one... I have to say I really struggled with the colors here.. the yellow/ oranges were so strong in the origial it was hard to overcome.. but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out:o)

crop

dupe layer.. invert.. overlay.. gausian blur.. reduce opacity..

levels.. levels.. levels.. curves..

lots of dodge and burn..

dupe and merge all layers to create a top layer containg all those bellow it.. gausian blur layer with mask to block out sharp parts..

dupe blur layer.. multiply.. draw a box with selection tool about 1/2 inch in.. select.. feather (160).. delete out selection.

usm...

a couple texture overlays
