This was taken at school by the stairs . parallel lines are not only shown in the rails but also on the stairs.

Congrats on winning your first ribbon! Well, yes, it's the last place brown ribbon, but there is some (debatable) notoriety and pride to achieving it. (I have one myself, btw) No place to go but up, right? Keep at it. You got some good feedback on this one and probably got a lot out of it.

Just a snapshot under the stairs. I do think that some adjustments could bring out some interesting detail in the textures. Not too much can be done for the overly bright highlights outside, however. Such a wide range of bright and dark is difficult to capture for any camera.

A bit too snapshotty and it's not level.

I enjoy the "looking out from a hiding spot" vantage point though.

This image really needed to be rotated........the backlighting really doesn't really work that well either

Horizon is skew and the backlighting affected your exposure. It DMC (Does Meet Challenge) but try improve your exposure and composition

This is a little dark and there is a tilt on the photo that isn't good. I can however see the parallel lines, but the photo doesn't do much to highlight them.
