Taken in downtown Hammond. I wanted to give the image an older feel so I desaturated to a point where it still had sort of blueish tones left in it and increased them using the blues layer in curves. Then I brought the neon and the taillights back to there original color. I thought looked nice with the neon signs and the bright red taillights swishing by. I used ISO 250 and didn't realize it. In hindsight I probably would have bumped the ISO higher before shooting but I have made prints and am pleased with them.

Love the taillights. Together with the desaturation it looks like they are scratching (keying?) other cars. That's the first thing I thought of when I looked at it, sorry if that's stupid.
You didn't get one comment during voting? That's a shame. So the voters didn't love it, but someone apparently liked it enough to link to it, and others enough to follow the link. Sort of redeems it, eh?
