 The corn is left over from a couple of rows in our vegetable garden which I did not have a chance to harvest last fall. Corn is difficult to grow in the Colorado foothills and I was surprised to still find ears bending under the weight of the snowfall.

Your garden is a corn field? I think this is a stretch. The sepia tone you have given this doesn't work inmo, sorry. Perhaps B&W.
