 Although not constructed in the sense that a bird's nest or a beehive is constructed, I've always preferred the subtler creations that nature has to offer; miniature forests of mosses, ledges of fungi on a fallen log, an animal's patterning, or the tiny "zipper" effect found in feathers. For this photo, I found a happy medium between the latter two of these: the plumage of a peacock.
