 This shot was taken, unaware of the ongoing challenge 'Shoes ||', while I was at a scouting hostel with Dunboyne scouts from Meath :).
We had been on a 9 hour hike that day and everyone threw their shoes in a pile and I just had to get the shot.
The hostel was an amazing place called Knockree Hostel in Wicklow. Great views and I got some good pictures from the two days.
I only did some basic editing cos i'm only new to the editing side of photography as I'm only 14 so I'm not sure on the whole concept of everything but I used Picasa 2 which is getting me into it.

Aptly titled. Composition works. But I'm not sure why I should be interested in the subject.

Huge boot collection! I think the white balance setting is off on this image. It seems to have a yellow/orange tint to it possibly due to tungsten lighting. It also seems to suffer from image grain due to the low light conditions.

Looks like my closet. Need to give this composition some sharp, directional light, maybe from low right, to bring out some separation / texture and form.
