This is another natural phenomenon that made me late for work. I took an alternate route and just kept my eyes open. I thought a playground would be a good place to photograph the frost. I actually didn't even know the challenge topic at the time =)

I'm so glad this evoked positive feelings viewers. This weather can get pretty rough, but sometimes is worth documenting.

This is really really cool. Literally and figuratively. If I were voting, I'd definitely give this a 10 (sorry I'm not). The clarity, the DoF, the composition, the tones, the concept, the execution... I don't like the title.

Excellent. My backside feels cold just looking at that seat! Back to bump, favorite of the challenge. I want to see a little brother double dog dared to sit on that seat naked! 10

Great use of dof to create this image displaying wonderful depth and perspective. I like the fine details of the frost on the chain and the swing's seat. 8

Wonderful! The shallow DOF really works here and the snow contributes to the "magical" atmosphere. 9

Great perspective brought on by the down low view. THe cold sines throught not only by the frost but also the blue/grey tones. These swings are just waiting for spring! I would sure like to see this in the top three!
