Long exposure from a gate above Grenoble freeway.
It takes a long time to wait for the good light in the sky and for the serious people driving straight.
This wasn't shot for the challenge but when I came back home, I discovered the new one ... and it was matching.

PP: convert from raw, curves,(no crop), resize, sharpen (just a bit) then make borders.

I hope you like it as much as I do ... this is my road to come back home from work.

Greetings from the Critique Club.

First impressions are that this is a stunning shot!

Technically this is a very good example of light trails. the exposure is spot on. Composition is good, but I do find the lack of interest in the upper half of the shot makes me wonder if cropping a bit of the top away wouldn't have been a good idea.

Artistically I like the border but don't see a need for it with this shot. It makes it a square crop with a "movie style" border - that doesn't seem to fit right. The choice of location is good with the curved roads.

In summary a great shot but it suffered a bit from many shots like this in recent challenges.

Feel free to PM me if you have any queries.

It's cool, but it's like a lot of other dark-road-at-night shots. Maybe an area with brighter lighting would've worked better, it's a bit too simple right now.

the only thing I don't like is the half shape of the power lines peaking out of the mountain shapes, nice pic.

Seen this countless number of times but this one was executed nicely. Love the contrast of man-made and nature in the background. 8

This is beautiful but I'm not completely sure how this is a different perspective. Great choice of frame.

I love the colors capture with the red taillights, white headlights and deep blue of the nighttime sky. Super sharp image with a wonderful vanishing point gives this great perspective. Potential for top ten I am sure!
