well, I can see him, at any rate...

My original thought for a title was "beware the tiger", which then made me think of good 'ol Douglas Adams and "beware of the leopard", and well, there you have it - looks more like a leopard, anyway.

shot focused with a narrow aperture, longish exposure, with slight deliberate movement of camera during exposure

conditions: deep snow, sticky snow blown in random patterns on trees, snow blowing by during exposure

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: An interesting abstraction of blur and texture. I like the way that this is so reduced down - distilled almost. No compromising with shades of grey - we'll have white and black and we'll like it! The motion blurring gives a sense of urgency and this is captured in your title and the radiation of the linear components lead us on, offering us a sense of direction and purpose.

Critical stuff: No suggestions to make - any changes would upset the balance of what you have created.

Overall: Obviously not everybody's cup of tea but I like it.

I will beware, if by "leopard" you mean "the eternal branching realities of my future silhouetted by heaven through which Thanatos cascades."

This picture insists on my blue ribbon.
