I like your perspective, the ice kind of looks like the head of a snake or something! (not sure yet) Great job!

I'd say try and show the ice as a singular element in the piece rather than having it blend with the shape and contour of the mountain-shape, perhaps get even lower and put that ice against the sky.

Difficult subject to really see. Depth of field doesn't do anything for the shot, perhaps a larger DoF so everything could be in focus...

one really concentrates on the ice in this photo and the line of the cloud in line with the tip of the ice makes for a nice perspective on the shot as a whole - the title also ties in nicely

Very clever, I think a deeper DOF would have made this even more convincing.
