 I was driving along Lake Washington looking for something to photograph. Normally I don't see eagles in the summer, but this one was sitting in the tree as beautiful as the day. It's a juvenile, my guess about three years old.

The colors are a little bland in this shot and the Eagle looks like it could use some sharpening. Great capture though, I would love to have an opportunity to photograph a Bald Eagle someday.

I understand that spotting this bird might be rare and therefore of some significance, but this photo doesn't really provide much more than evidence of having spotted it. I'm not quite sure how to explain why (and I'm sorry for that), but nothing here really captures or holds my interest.
