It's interesting Mark, I've accidentally bumped into this photo now and hovered over it for a while thinking how is it that I've never seen it before. I then noticed my comment made more than 2 years ago. Brain is a strange thing. |

I think you captured a feeling of nostagia here. I look at this and totally think I am looking back in time at a street scene from way back. I think that this picture does show meaning and you captured it well. Nice job! |

I'm with the majority here and think its spot on. I guess if the fotog isn't sure but the majority of viewers are sure they like it then I can understand it when it works in reverse ;) |

Missed the boat? I certainly don't think so!
I love the blobs of colored blur that are almost discernable and that old blue truck that's almost run over a ghost. |

I don't think you missed the boat at all with this. In fact I like it a lot. I'm a sucker for old cars and trucks. |

I know what you're saying, but I don't think you missed the mark. I see an abandoned pickup at an old gas station, waiting patiently to be rescued and restored. : ) |

You'd be surprised - sometimes it only takes the slightest nudge out of focus. I usually take shots at varying stages of defocus to get a range of options - some shots are most effective with a little bit, others are only at their best with full-on defocus. This doesn't look bad to me - looks like you're in your "Blue Mood". ;) |

His eyes had grown cataract dim
but memories were full blown and clear
as he watched the old truck drive by
Hank Williams' "Lonesome Blues" he could hear |

"Meaning" isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sometimes (most times for me) it's just about shapes and colours. |
