canon 28mm 2.8

Basically just took out the yellow and green. I don't expect this to do very well, but I took a lot of photo's this week looking for something great. I didn't get what I wanted, but didn't want the week to be a total loss :)

I like this picture alot, and I like the sharpness indeed! I am waiting for a 28mm 2.8 lense, that is why I am scanning the web for great pics, taken with it. This one is Topclass.

Very tedious! Well done on the desaturation. Honestly, it's not my favorite, but technically it scores points, and it's still a great photo. good job

Nice. Glare is a bit of a problem though

Looks like a normal picture........ I have grey and metal tacks in my desk at work. On close inspection - I'm guessing you changed the yellow's to greyscale, but, missed the yellow reflection comming off the clear tacks. A well focused picture, but, you needed to consider if the viewer would recognize the missing color. And you needed a bit more time on this to remove the yellow reflections.

I think this would have been more effective had you selected just one color to preserve. as it is, the shot is very cluttered.

Good job on the desaturaton. This one looks like it took a lot of work to get the colors right.

poor lighting. the light is too bright/direct which causes strong reflections. would also be better if you desaturated the red tacks also

Very nice! The focus looks to be just a touch off though. It might just be the monitor or lighting here at work.

Nice choice in representing this challenge. For my tastes however, only one color would've been more effective.
