 I posted this on Facebook today too, but since it is a portrait, I thought I'd post him in the side challenge too.

This poor guy was so whipped by life. You could see it and feel it in his eyes. But I was touched by the devotion he had to his dog, and every few minutes the dog would look up at him and plant kisses all over his face.

i can never figure out what posesses people to pierce themselves in such way, but i digress, i like the shot Sandy and seems like a bit of a departure from your usual editing style

Both man and dog have a lot of character which is very nicely captured.

So do you have one of the dog licking him?

Very nice capture and touching write up.

I think maybe he needs to return some of those kisses to the dog though - it's looking kinda down as well :- )
