| what a cool bird! the colors are so dramatic - i just wish the lighting were a bit different so we could see more details on the bird |

| What a beautiful bird... Excellent color and a good story. Focus is a little soft and the unfortunate overexposure of the sky are the negatives of this image. Still a beautiful shot. |

| such pretty colors...IMO I think that this could stand a little stronger hand on the use of USM...but that is only my opinion |

This almost looks like a camouflage effort but the bird is so colorful!!

| Nice coloured bird. i think ive spotted one in my apple tree as well. Sky is a bit blown out and a darker background would have been nice. |

The bird is almost lost in the background colours, though I'm guessing that's the idea of the colour of the feathers :)
Nice shot, and I think you've captured it nicely in its environment. It's just a shame the head area is a little dark, would be good to see some more details there. |

| The bird blends into the background a little too much, losing the emphasis of the bird as the subject. Bright area in the top left is not great. I do like the border presentation. |
