My first challenge!
I parked my car in a spot next to a graffiti warehouse called 5pointz and spent about 10-15 minutes snapping away photos for this challenge entry when I noticed a really big sign that said "NO PHOTOS!"
I chuckled and decided I should turn around and head back to my car before I get in trouble, but a black cat is chilling on top of my hood.
The hairs on my arm prickled up when I saw it, and I had to enter my car through the rear passenger side door and climb to the drivers seat where I was able to grab 3 quick pictures before it jumped off.

Greetings from the Critique Club.

First impressions are that the colours are really vivid, almost unnaturally so.

Technically this is a little different. The titled view works for these buildings. The cat is not placed precisely on a third - this lets us see more graffiti but it also makes the cat seem a bit like it's cramped against the edge. It's a shame this was basic editing as those cats eyes could have really popped with a little extra work.

Artistically this has a very strong message. The black cat against the vivid graffiti is a great contrast.

In summary this tells a strong story but I think the processing is a little too unnatural for many voters.

Feel free to PM me if you have any queries.

wish the cat's eyes were in focus too

That is a slightly freaky cat. I like the extreme saturation, I think it suits the nature of graffiti quite well.

This is a LDR knightmare and still you nailed the exposure right. Perhaps you should have cropped the sky out and loose the "CHARM". The OOF cat however is the one killing it IMHO.

I'm a little dissapointed with the cat =[ this image would have been sooo much better without it.

The cat as it is out of focus does not help the image imo.

Good idea but the cat needs to be either in focus or show some type of detail. The eyes being out of focus and a black blob kinda ruins the rest of the photo.
