very different type of portrait. I am not so much for the grunge look but it's a very good shot. |

This could almost be a pencil drawing - it's striking. |

Resembles Larus' work. The forehead chop feels like too much but then again you have a nice symmetry in her shoulders and face. I suspect she has great skin but you wanted the 'dirty' look. |

A somewhat disturbing look. Quite powerful in its harshness.....6 |

Scary pic. Funny thing to say of what Im sure is a pretty lady. Does grab and hold the attention without a doubt. The eyes and hair work and the way composed/cropped especially. 9 |

Very nice for a centrally composed portrait. Also this has a nice amount of depth to it considering it was lit with a ringlight. Excellent DOF and focus, and love the crop. Very striking portrait 10 |

This is so unusual. The tones, the ?topaz. I like it very much. It's a sttement. |

I am not a fan of artificially dirty faces. This does nothing but disturb me, though I'm sure it's popular with the rest of the DPC crowd. |

Neat image, very stark, and the ring flash (it is a ring flash isn't it??) looks really cool reflected in her retinas. There is a grungy harsh look here that breaks all the usual rules about photographing women, and I think it works well. Nice image. |

Interesting image, I like what you were trying to do. The ring lighting is very good, with the nice catch light in the eyes. But the eyes don't look natural to me, and seem to not match the overall image - I think it is the whites of the eyes that lost their detail with the boost in contrast. 7 |

Good centered composition. Not fond of the over the top processing but that's a personal preference, I am sure this is scoring well. |

Stark and harsh and works well that way, and the aspect ratio suits the composition well. |

I love the hard look. It just kind of burn holes through the viewer. |

What did you do to her? Audition for "Monster"? No monster, though. |
