| Calm, peaceful, tranquil, serene - all these words describe the scene here in your composition. Love the morning light reflected on the smooth almost glasslike surface of the water. Colors are beautiful too. I wonder just where you were to take this shot at this angle...it makes me think you had to be in the middle of this river (perhaps in a boat) or standing in a very shallow bank near the shoreline. The angle makes it look like the river spreads out before us like a road; one which we are already 'standing' on ready to travel down the path. |

| The processing seems a bit over the top, but I like the dreamy, ethereal quality that it gives this particular image. I wonder where exactly this is? I went to school in St. Louis and took a lazy raft trip down the ol' Meramec many years ago.... |
