The lack of focus doesn ot work for me here.

Photo seems that it was intended to be out of focus. I think i'd rather have it in focus.

I'm sure you have probably read this by now, by her eyes are very out of focus. I don't know if it is because of the technique or not, but iher eyes have a very milky, glazed appearance which is exteremlely creepy. A closer look makes me suspect you painted the color in somewhat transparently and this is probably what gives them the unatural appearance. The photo was out of focus to begin with, so it really wasn't the best choice for an entry, particularly a tricky one like this.

This could have been an interesting shot for me. I like the eyes and skin, but the focus/camera shake kills it for me. Maybe it was a choice you made, but I'm betting if you could have upped the shutter speed a little bit this might have been a much better shot.

Could mabey have been better if you had the whole eye in the frame and the picture a little sharper, good luck :)

Image a bit too soft on the focus which I believe was caused by impoper focus (shot without macro) and camera shaking while shutter depressing or model moving or any combination of the above. This photo also lacks any white, you've established black and gray values but there are no highlights. The area you chose to keep color is dark as well and from far away or a quick glance, there would appear to be no color at all.

This is out of focus. Try manually focusing if you have a dSLR, and try not to rely on your first attempt of AF all the time...especially with close subjects such as this. A good concept though. Also, the eyes seem over saturated.

Too much saturation in the coloured area.

This shot has so much potential and I'm sure that 90% of your comments will be, "out of focus" and that is how it appears. If you were going for a soft focus look it's a nice attempt but it looks more like motion blur than soft focus on my monitor. The eyes also seems a bit dar, the pupil on the left seems extremely large and the white on the right puple seems to have some jpg artifacts in it and there appears to be no pupil at all. Also the background on the right is very distracting, solid black would really pull this shot off. If you redo this shot I would love to see it again. As is a 4

Nice composition. Shot is slightly blurrly though, and the color of the eyese is very dark.

blurry, better if it were sharper. And the eye color looks fake. It's supposed to be a desaturation contest, not a replace color.
