Very creative. this is the second image that I have noticed that perhaps youre going too heavy on the smoothing of the skin. Or it might be just your style. Good image regardless

Hi Richard I couldn't agree more. I find it really difficult to get the person to naturally blend into the background. I have tried your lighting approach before, I was please with the result what do you think?

That's a pretty good job of combining the two images. One thing I've found is when combining images it works best when you try to marry the two in the same light or introduce a new light source that affects both images. Doing it in post is not easy but by doing it you give the light more depth and in turn the scene looks more believable as a result. However, this doesn't just apply to composites. Photos taken on location can sometimes have this issue when the ambient light is dialed way down to allow the strobes to overpower it. Sometimes it'll look cool but it will always look fake because of the light. Now when the subject looks cool and the light looks real then you've done something. Just a thought.

I love location shoots, and this is a great one. Brownish/pinkish tones are very good as well.
