Thank you all for the nice comments. Just goes to show that you can satisfy all of the pesimists some of the time but not some of the optimists all of the time. Or something like that.

What if the moon is on the to right of the frame.

Good clean shot. Really like the moon through the dish and the plane on the right side. Wonder how many saw that. Clean shot. Meets challenge well. Nice crop - other won't understand if they don't see the plane. Lacks "wow" that jumps out at you but otherwise real good shot. PTL

Very good. Idea. There has to be something that could have been done to really make this thing have some bite. The title is great.

Well composed.

Very nice! I like how the moon shows through the antennea, but (truly a nit) it's not fully centered in that section (see, I told you it was a small issue). 9 Swash

I didn't like the placement of the moon. I think it would have worked better with the moon in the right of the image. I liked the idea though and nice title.

The first thing that strikes me is the lovely sky blue sky...hehehe. I love how you incorporated the moon. You positioned the dish beautifully into the composition, and the entire image is pleasing. You definetly meet the challenge. Good job. 7 Grayce

the moon wouldve looked better on the right corner

I like this one with Moon behind it.

way to go with the inclusion of the moon.
there are little black specks in each bottom corner that are distracting also the white speck in the sky, too bad you couldn't stamp them out :)
I wonder if the placement of the moon out of the sattelite would have improved this shot?
11/18/2002 01:35:00 PM
Personally I would have liked it better with the moon outside the dish, but still cool :)

Nice composition with the moon showing through the dish. Good color as well.
