Hey, I missed this one! And I didn't realize this stunning girl was your daughter. I thought you were using a model like Lutchenko and Kingskingdome were doing. She is so pretty with that burgundy-red hair! And you photograph her excellently! Not even Dad's football jersey can make her look anything but feminine and pretty!

Nice sporty look here. Great colors.
Regarding softness of eyes, many people like the eyes to be the sharpest part of the portrait. To ensure this, a) when taking the photo, make sure you set your focus point on the eye closest to you (in this instance, her left eye), and b) consider a bit of selective sharpening on the eyes/eyelids/eyebrows even if you got a) right.
To me it looks like her left ear and the hair leading across her temple to her left ear are the sharpest parts of her face, which then makes the eyes look a bit soft by comparison. You might try using the sharpening tool on the eye area (and a bit on the lips for good measure); start with a relatively low strength sharpening setting and build it up gradually. |

I think I am having an issue with my eyes. I cannot see that the eyes are too soft and I worked on the eyes. I am going to have to figure out how to see what you guys see...I am very much trying to keep the eyes in focus... |

| It's crazy, the things we do to get the shot isn't it? I've stood atop a ladder with one foot dangling. LOL She seems quite comfy in front of the camera. Gorgeous eyes. |

really nice looking, her hair is a really cool color, another fun thing to try while standing on the chair is using a really shallow dof:
