 Yep. It's a self-portrait. :-) I tried (honest!) to get a decent shot downtown for New Year's Eve, but nothing really came together that I liked. So...I'm One In 7 Billion, right? :-P

I'm actually pleased with the way this came out. I don't use flash very often (almost always natural light) and after some experimentation I got (what I think is) the right balance of fill light using an external flash and a white diffuser.

- levels (0,110,219)
- sharpen
- remove (clone out) velcro square on glove
- clean up my spotty teeth :-)
- resize
- USM (.35,100,10) +luminous
- selective sharpen on face
- dup layer
- VP Natural Portrait (set layer to 51% opacity)
- merge all
- darken edges a little
- HSL (cyan -30, blue -50)
- save as JPG (really had to compress the heck out of this with all of the detail in the bg). :-/

He's got the wrong gear. Needs one of those big white lenses to better blend in with the snow! Nice environmental portrait.
