A painter doing his job at Sirpur Talab,Indore. He was busy in painting the grills on the lake & I asked him to allow me to take his portrait. I took immediately & got this expressions!

That look he is giving you is priceless. Kind of surprised. Kind of amused. But never taking his mind far off the task at hand. It is very interesting.

You are certainly one of the masters on DPC with respect to finding all sorts of interesting people. Subject is very nicely lit here.

With respect to the desaturation suggestion, I would keep the main subject normally saturated as well (along with the brush and the painted fence) but desaturate the rest -- this will de-emphasize the person in the background.

Thanks for nice comment & honest suggestion. I think Selective desaturation as suggested by you will take away focus from the subject which is painter in this case.

haha. great shot! i know that it is sometimes cliche but did you try a selective de-saturation on this (just keep the paint on the fence, brush, and splatters in color??)...i dont know it might look cool haha
