This is the beam of light on the back side of a computer CD
(compact disk). This shot was taken under fairly dim lighting, and with a
flash.

I call it plasmatic repulsion because it appears that the center beam
of light is being repelled onto either side of the picture, creating 2
colors (red and blue). Sort of like electric charge, where like charges
repel. Here it seems different colors repel!

Considering this is a pattern appearing on a regular CD, I think it deserved a better score.
I though the description is available to everyone while voting, apparently not.
