 Taken at my terrace.

A torch used to light up the flower. Half the LEDs of torch were covered with blue polythene and other with white cloth to give blue and red color effect...

moon taken in background and taken on low shutter speed to give star like effect to moon.

editing
cloned out some ground from left corner
Adjusted curves,warmity
cropped and saved for web.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Sorry about the wait for your critique, this is coming out of the backlog!

Personally I'm not a big fan of flower photos, on this one though I rather like the wide range of colours and the water droplets forming. That being said I think you got hit hard for the simple reason of not having the moon as the main subject. To me this is more a flower shot. It's good for a flower contest but doesn't fit in so much with the moon theme. Good luck in the rest of 2010!

Bad start to new year.

11 one's... Oh boy I need to come up with less controversial photographs to reduce those...

missed my aim of 50% by more than 1/2

Stunning flower and colors, but it doesn't feature the moon enough for me. Is that the moon in the top center? Not voting.
