Awesome shot Dwayne! Dang that looks cold. THe little shack on the side is really cool and gives you a feel for how large that fall is. I'm sure you had a great time but are happy to be back home in the land of warm.

To make more impact with this shot, try cropping the top off. Remove all the distractions at the top, and you'll see that just having the one house at the bottom really pops and makes a world of difference in the composition.

I really like the effect. Even the falling water looks frozen.

Very cool scene. I especially like how a scale to the falls and icicles is created by the presence of the small building below. Good choice on the long shutter too.

Awesome shot. Looks like there wasn't too much mist coming off the falls.

This looks like a postcard. The muted colours work very well here.

This almost looks like it was done on a miniature scale, so powerful and mighty are the falls in comparison to the smaller manmade building. The blended white tones of the water combine so beautifully with the frost tones of the surrounding immediate landscape complemented by the high-key icicles hanging down in short, orderly rows against the greystone rocks. These are even echoed with icicles hanging down from the ornate building above. Superb winter landscape.

This is an ok image for me. I have issue with timed water motions. Personally I would have enjoyed something more 'real' in feeling. The ice adds a nice element but at this angle the drama is not there. I would have liked something with a bit more emotion in it. more drama more contrast. Overall it is ok.

All I have to say is awesome! Great placement of the falls and the lower lookout. The ice and angle really makes this shot unique!
