What a crazy shot -- the ice rink, palm trees, and that glorious sunset! I love it.

Nice processing, too. 8)

Shot in RAW and exposed for the sky which left the skater and rink underexposed. To lighten the foreground I used a graduated filter in Photoshop Camera Raw (first attempt at doing that- worked pretty well I think). Some vignet added.

Nikon D80 and Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens at 16mm
1/800 sec at f/3.5 and ISO 100.
