 This scene is down the road from my house. This great old Connecticut farm sits on a wonderful plot of land. The farmer and his wife have been working hard on the farm, improving the buildings, and dressing up the grounds. In the past year, these two old trucks found there way to a side yard. I was so excited to see lights on the trucks when I drove by one afternoon in late November. I spent the next couple of weeks waiting for the right moment to stop by for a few shots. The problem was that either the lights were not on or there was dirty snow or no snow to really set the mood.

The day before we left for Vermont, my wife suggested trying the farm one last time. It was a clear cold night and the snow of the weekend was still white and crisp. When we arrived, the stars just seemed to twinkle and the lights on the trucks bathed the scene in light.

I think this is fabulous w the light in the darkness casting further out to the snow duds and old vehicles decorated for the season.. REally well done!!!

This is a fun image. Though I keep wondering if the camera can move even lower to the ground. From where it is it almost appears at a crouched level, and I believe if it was even lower it would create more appeal.
