maybe you should try lightly accenting the edges..and getting rid of the bright line area around the neck.

you know, generally i don't like this kind of thing, but this is awesome. I could do without the semi-transluscent border, but the balance is very cool. if I ever figure out what is different about it, I'll let you know. but for whatever reason, it seems like you've pushed it far enough to make it work.
