A pond in my garden, close up of the iced fountain's top (it was really cold here this week).
Long exposure, tripod on ice
Raw processed with the excellent DXO optics pro 6, and in CS4 (color contrast, tonal contrast, some blur and usm)

It does not appear to be an oyster...it looks a piece of ice melting. A wonderful shot, very contrasty and clear.

You will have to do better than this to stump me. Obviously, this is the ice caves of Cheltus VII, a very trendy tourist destination in the outer colonies. A very photogenic location as well. Since being discovered in 2776, it has been photographed nearly as often as Antelope Canyon. We've all seen it before, time to try something original.
