 Mt Nantai from one of my schools. It's the highest mountain within the prefecture, and it's 256 metres higher than Australia's highest mountain. Some of the snow has melted in the last couple of days.
The school opposite is the elementary school. Four years ago (this week), when I was teaching in a different town, it was live on the TV news because one of its first grade pupils went missing. Her body was found in a forest in the neighbouring prefecture. Unfortunately, the perpetrator of the crime has yet to be found.

This is a great view of the mtn and love how u took this w the roof line like it is..
Leaves a pit in the stomach when a child is missing tragic story..

A sad story (hope he/she is gonna be found soon), but this photo is very nice with the lines of the roof and that beautiful mountain in the background.

As interesting as the view of the mountain is, I really like the pattern and color of the roof with the trees in the background.
