| I really like the shot, but what i dont like is too much space to the right, i wold definitely crop it closer. |

Is the original, I B&W'ed it by hand (desat, curves, more desat) because although I like the colours I think they detract from the emotion. I cropped it the way I did because I feel it sits on the eye better though to be honest I would crop differently if it were not for the contra-joure entry (in fact if I had not had such a disasterous science entry I would have cropped the light out for this competition). I'm wondering why I like this version with the top of his hair cropped out and I think it is because it lends a degree of closeness that contrasts with the distance to the spot light.
