 Saw this red-tail hawk driving home. Pulled over and was able to get some good shots of him sitting on a sign. He was then kind enough to fly to the powerlines for me to get this shot. They are very common in this area, but I still think they are incredible birds.

I like it, but if I can nitpick, some selective editing to eliminate the graininess in the sky could have helped a bit.

It's a nice composition and pose. But the sky is a bit messy with artifacts and the image looks a bit over-sharpened to me. Perfection is hard to achieve ;-)

I love the colors and composition on this shot... I can see some halo around the wires and the bird, but not enough to spoil the picture.

I think there are a total of three Red Tail hawks in this challenge. Might be a record. I love the composition of your shot, that and it's focused so well. Good one.
