Photographed with the a Quaker Oats box pinhole camera. This one is f/226. Ilford paper and chemicals.

I sat on this one for a while. It has some flaws, but maybe that's the beauty of it. It's hard to "frame" a shot with a camera like this, but I knew I wanted the gentleman sitting a few seats down from me and, if possible, all of the building. I had an idea how it would look. I positioned the Quaker Oats box sort of diagonally, and then tried to point it toward the lower part of the building. That I got what I got was partially luck. Total luck was the fact that the fellow didn't move much during the duration of the forty second (!) exposure.

I'm waiting for someone to get suspicious of some dude walking around with this Quaker Oats box lol. The distortion is really cool. I love how you are demonstrating other ways to take photos.

I really like this... the distortion reminds me of Salvador Dali's work ;)

You inspire me to go out and get myself a holga or something of the likes... this is simple, yet it has so much charm and personality.. very nice!

Your Quaker Oats series is pretty cool. I like the distortion (curvature) of the building in this. I highly recommend everyone take a look at this series and read the notes... My favorite is the story in this pic:

Man what an amazing about of Skew on that building. And for a no look through the viewfinder to frame it, I'd say wow again.

Absolutely fantastic! Not just a great shot, but with such an imprecise mechanism. You've obviously been practicing...a lot!
