Our photography group met for our first night shoot and had a great time. The carousel at the festival was a huge treat.

In hindsight, I realized I should have used my polarizing filter to help with the light, and maybe increased my shutter speed a bit. Still trying to figure this stuff out. :o)

Love the movement. Not as much a fan of the tilt.

The tilting does not work very much for me, but the photo is very well controlled, and great clarity and tones.

Tilt adds interest and fluidity. Good exposure control and S/S. Meets challenge.

It's not a picture of the sun: +2

Cool blur on the horses...looks like an ominous fog: +4

Nice shot... but you should turn that model around to add greater interest. A cool shot woould have been to shoot up at the model's face with the spinning carousel in the top background and compose it portrait style.

I really like the tilt. Great shot.

There is a great amount of creative control in this that is not, perhaps, readily apparent at first view. The diagonal perspective is odd and the dark watcher lends a bit of an eerie touch to the horses which are spinning round so fast they are almost, but not quite, invisible except for the ghosting movement blur. Yet the centre lights are perfectly in focus and sharp where desired. The more I study it, the more in resonates.

Tilt works especially well here as does the sepia.

Points for use of a long exposure in this challenge, very inventive. I little too much tilt for me, the photo has enough interest in it already. 8

I think that not only is this photo, in my opinion, exactly the kind of thing I thought of when I saw this challenge, but it's amazing. I love that you can sense the mood and feel the night air. I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us in the future.
